• Healthy Hoof Care - Prevention & Options When The Unexpected Happens: We will walk through the key areas needed to build and maintain healthy hooves. Participants will leave the presentation with ideas to incorporate into their horse’s life upon returning home. They will have an in person look at what to look for in healthy feet. Participants will also have multiple resources to seek out to learn more after the presentation.

Marta Merrick, of Bison Creek Holistic Care, has a passion for empowering the everyday animal caregiver to follow their intuition when it comes to their animal’s care. Whether you have years of experience with care or are just getting started, helping you find the knowledge and confidence to speak with and up to your professionals when it comes to your animal’s care is empowering. Having worked as a barefoot hoof care professional, she now helps others to learn to trim their own horses through an online course and private support group. As a current Healing Touch for Animals practitioner, helping people to realize the increased healing benefits when adding energy work to your animal’s care is a priority. She experiences great relaxation and inspiration in nature with her dog Zeke, or riding her TWH on the trails. Her latest passion is learning mounted archery with her Morgan horse, Maggie.
